Remembering Reinhold Aman
Reinhold Aman, known as "the Noah Webster of verbal aggresion", died on March 2, 2019 at the age of 82. Aman was the editor of Maledicta: The International Journal of Verbal Aggression, which published collections and studies of some of the most vile and vulgar, but oftentimes also the most creative, uses of human language. He also produced a number of other books and journals on wordplay and slang.
