Paper accepted at IberLEF 2019

A paper co-authored by Dr. Tristan Miller has been accepted for publication at IberLEF 2019, the Iberian Languages Evaluation Forum.

The paper, "OFAI–UKP at HAHA@IberLEF2019: Predicting the Humorousness of Tweets Using Gaussian Process Preference Learning", describes a system for predicting the humorousness of Spanish-language posts on Twitter. The system was entered in one of IberLEF's shared tasks, Humor Analysis based on Human Annotation (HAHA 2019).

The system and paper were jointly authored with colleagues at the Ubiquitous Knowledge Processing Lab at Technische Universität Darmstadt: Dr. Edwin Simpson, Erik-Lân Do Dinh, and Prof. Iryna Gurevych.

The IberLEF workshop, colocated with the 2019 Conference of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing (SEPLN2019), will be held on September 24, 2019 in Bilbao, Spain.
