Article published in PLN

An article co-authored by Dr. Tristan Miller has been published in Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (PLN), the journal of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing.

The article, "Predicting the Humorousness of Tweets Using Gaussian Process Preference Learning", is a revised and expanded version of a paper that previously appeared in the proceedings of IberLEF 2019, the Iberian Languages Evaluation Forum. It describes a system for predicting the humorousness of Spanish-language posts on Twitter.

The system and paper were jointly authored with colleagues at the Ubiquitous Knowledge Processing Lab at Technische Universität Darmstadt: Dr. Edwin Simpson, Erik-Lân Do Dinh, and Prof. Iryna Gurevych.
